Keep It Local: Relocalize

What workshops are you most interested in? Let us know what topic and what part of the island and if there is enough demand, we can put one together! Remember, these workshops are about "Doing-It-Yourself", learning a skill that will help to relocalize our relationship with Kaua`i.

I live in Kapahi

I would like to see workshops on various aspects of Frugal living on Kauai.

(I would like to see if anyone has started a "Price LOG comparison" shopping notebook with a PENCIL to keep in the car and brought into stores, to NOTE Where (and when) to buy certain staples cheapest.
i.e. Page 1 for Apple , Apple sauce, Almond butter, almonds,
Page 2 baking soda, bananas, band-aids, bread, butter ,etc

On the subject of frugality, my 3 favorite books from the Library, (so far) are
The Tightwad Gazette series
Cheap talk with the Frugal Friends ( a hilarious quick read).
the Ultimate Cheapskate's Road Map to True Riches ( a practical (and fun) guide to enjoying life more by spending less)
